Kota: An eighteen-year-old medical aspirant from Barmer district committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan on Thursday morning. The student lived in a paying guest accommodation in Vikas Nagar area under Kunhari police station of Kota.The boy, before committing suicide made a video call to his fiancée in Barmer informing her about his decision to take the extreme step following which she called his father, who immediately called the PG owner, Devkinandan Sharma, but by the time he could reach the boy’s room, he had hanged himself.The boy has been identified as Karan Kumar, a resident of Sindhadi village in Barmer district, said Meera Baniwal sub inspector at Kunahari police station and investigating officer of the case.
