Air India, IndiGo, Spice Jet and Akasa Air have all taken to their respective social media accounts and shared details of their travel advisories. Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after Islamabad conducted coordinated strikes in several parts of the Indian territory, which were intercepted by the Indian air defence system.Almost all the airlines asked passengers to reach the airport 3 hours before their flight and asked them to be patient in case of delay or cancellation. “In view of an order by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security on enhanced measures at airports, passengers across India are advised to arrive at their respective airports at least three hours prior to scheduled departure to ensure smooth check-in and boarding,” Air India wrote on X.STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS ADIndiGo took a similar stance on the matter: “In these extraordinary times, heightened security measures are taken up across all airports.
