<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>On Wednesday, the UPSC declared the results of the written part of the Civil Services Examination 2016 held by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in December, 2016. The personality test was held in March-May 2017.The candidates have been recommended for IAS, IFS, IPS and Central Services Group A and Group B. A total of 1099 have been recommended with a break up of 500 general candidates, 347 OBC candidates, 163 SC and 89 ST candidates. Over 11 lakh aspirants appeared for the 2016 exams.Nandini K R, who hails from Karnataka, has topped the prestigious civil services examination, the result of which was declared today by the UPSC. She had taken the exam last year. The release further said: “UPSC has a “Facilitation Counter” near Examination Hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information / clarification regarding their examinations / recruitment on the working days between 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours in person or over telephone Nos. 23385271 / 23381125 / 23098543. Result will also be available on the U.P.S.C. website i.e. http//www.upsc.gov.in.
