<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday met various saints working for social causes during his pravas in Rajasthan. Bhagwatvisited Amrapur and met saints of Sindhi samaj. He appreciated the social activities of the saints and discussed on how to expand social welfare schemes.Balakdas Maharaj, a saint, who is promoting education among the “Odh” community in Ramgarh in Alwar district, met Bhagwatat the regional office of the RSS at Bharti Bhavan.Apart from this, Shriji Maharaj, all India Pithadhishwaraj of Sant Nimbark community of Salemabad, and young saint of Sanglia Peeth Omdas met Bhagwat. After this, at 9 in the morning, Bhagwat reached Amrapur on MI Road. Here he met Mahant Sant Bhagat Prakash Maharaj and sant mandali of Prem Prakash Ashram of Sindhi-speaking society working for providing food and medical service to the needy.He also inquired about the activities of the social service they were doing. Prior to the meeting, Bhagwat also visited the temple and samadhi of Sant Teuram Maharaj and Sant Sarvanand Maharaj at the ashram. He paid his obeisance at the temple .RSS’s regional pracharak Durgadas along with prant sanghchalak Ramesh Chandra and prant pracharaks were also present with him. Bhagwat stayed at Amrapur Ashram for about 40 minutes. During this, Bhagwat met president of the Indian Sindhu Sabha, Rajasthan, and sought information about the original Amrapur which is in the Sindh province of Pakistan.Significantly, the seva vibhag of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh conducts several seva (social work). At present 1,325 seva activities are being run by the swayamsevaks in Rajasthan region. These include 577 of education, 181 of health, 128 of swavalamban and 439 works of social upliftment.
