Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will conduct the 23rd All India Entrance Examinations for Admission (AIEEA) on June 22, 2018. The ICAR will release the e-admit cards for AIEEA today on the official website. The candidates who have applied for the postgraduate and PhD programmes the exam will be held on June 22,2018. The entrance exam for the undergraduate courses will be held on June 23, 2018.ICAR’s 23rd AIEEA 2018 examination for the academic session 2018-19 will be conducted through Online Computer Based Test at specified centers across India. AIEAA test will be of two and half hours of duration for the ICAR undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses. Furthermore, the duration of the PhD test will be 3 hours. The maximum marks for undergraduate test will 720 marks; it will be 650 and 200 marks for PG and PhD respectively.INSTRUCTIONS’Candidate may note that without self-attestation of photo as well as signature and putting thumb impression of the candidate on e-Admit card, candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Candidate is advised to preserve this e-Admit card till completion of counseling and admission process in the allotted Agricultural University,’ reads the official statement.MOCK TEST ICAR will also host a mock test for practise purpose for all the candidates who will appear for the CBT (Computer based test). The time and date of the mock or sample test will notified to the candidates on the official website icar.org.in and aieea.net.ABOUT ICARThe Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country under the aegis of DARE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare , Govt. National Talent Scholarship (NTS) of Rs 2000/- per month are awarded based on the AIEEA-UG examination to all those candidates who take admission outside their state of domicile.ICAR PG Scholarships for postgraduate studies will be awarded to 475 candidates based on merit in this examination as per their overall merit-rank and seat availability in different disciplines.ICAR’s provides Master degree programmes in AUs in different disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Animal Sciences, Agri. Engineering, Community Science (erstwhile Home Science), Fisheries, Dairy Science and other allied sciences.
