An Indian Administrative Services (IAS) aspirant allegedly committed suicide after he failed to qualify the UPSC preliminary qualifying exam. The deceased, identified as Samrat Chauhan, was unhappy over not being able to qualify the examination.According to the police, an information was received on Monday regarding a suicide in Ber Sarai area. Chauhan had also left behind a suicide note in which he stated that no one should be blamed for his death, police said.”I am taking this step at my own will as I am unhappy with my life. I have not been able to achieve anything in life and no one should be held responsible for my death. I apologise to my parents for not being able to make anything out of my life,” stated the suicide note. He ended the suicide note by asking his brother to take care of his parents.The crime team broke open the door of the room where Chauhan resided. He had finished his UPSC coaching in Mukherjee Nagar around six months back and had moved to this rented accommodation to prepare for the civil services exam.Chauhan’s father works with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and resides in Pataudi area of Gurugram.
