Shock, disbelief and outrage has gripped Kashmir after one of the leading journalists and editor in chief of a prestigious daily `The Rising Kashmir’ Syed Shujaat Bukhari was assassinated by the suspected militants outside his office at Press Colony here on Thursday evening. His personal security officer (PSO) was also killed while another suffered grievous injury in the attack.Bukhari was leaving for home when terrorists fired indiscriminately at his vehicle outside his office on Thursday evening. The injured were rushed to the hospital where Bukhari and his PSO were declared dead. The condition of the second PSO is stated to be critical.“It is a terror attack and we are investigating the case. We are looking into it.
