In a move to facilitate smooth travel for citizens attending Republic Day celebrations, Delhi Metro will commence operations at 3:00 AM on Sunday, January 26, 2025. The early start aims to assist commuters heading to Kartavya Path to witness the grand Republic Day ceremony.
Trains will run at intervals of 30 minutes until 6:00 AM, after which the metro will follow its regular schedule for the day. Passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly and utilize the extended services to avoid last-minute rush and delays.
This initiative ensures convenient and timely access for those traveling to be part of the nation’s celebrations, marking India’s pride and unity on Republic Day.
