US media reaction to the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony

NBC, a very renowned media house in the United States in one of their reports wrote that the Ram Temple is transforming Ayodhya, a city of about 3 million people in Uttar Pradesh, into a tourist hub that officials hope will be a Hindu version of the Vatican.

They also mentioned that the inauguration of the temple comes as Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party to prepare to run for a record third consecutive term in elections this year.

In one of the reports of Gulf News titled ‘Narendra Modi to inaugurate Ayodhya Hindu temple in milestone for India’, they wrote that Modi is set to fulfill his party’s decades-long promise when he consecrates a major Hindu temple in northern India on Monday, marking a new milestone in the popular leader’s project of reshaping the country.

It also read that the inauguration of the temple, before a crowd of business leaders, celebrities, and other elites, takes place as Modi campaigns for a third term in the upcoming elections.

UK media reaction to Ram Mandir consecration ceremony

One of the UK’s renowned news organization, Reuters in one of their reports mentioned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the consecration on Monday of a grand temple to the Hindu god Lord Ram on a site believed to be his birthplace, in a historic event for the Hindu majority of the world’s most populous nation.

They further wrote, “portrayed as a Hindu awakening from centuries of subjugation by Muslim and colonial powers, the event is also being seen as a crucial element in the prelude to Modi’s campaign for a rare third term in general elections due by May.”

Meanwhile, PM Modi took on X to request everyone to light the Ram Jyoti and welcome him in their homes as well.

“Today, Ram Lalla has been seated in his grand temple in Ayodhya. On this auspicious occasion, I request everyone to light the Ram jyoti and welcome him in your homes too. Jai Siya Ram,” PM Modi said.
