India will enter its seventh and last phase of polling on June 1 (Saturday). The first six phases of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 recorded voter turnouts of 66.14 per cent, 66.71 per cent, 65.68 per cent, 69.16 per cent, 62.2 per cent and 63.37 per cent respectively.
It’s the showdown and this phase will mark the culmination of Lok Sabha elections 2024.
The seventh phase of the elections will span eight states and Union Territories (UTs) and will cover 57 constituencies. The first phase covered 102 constituencies, the second covered 88, the third covered 94, the fourth covered 96, the fifth covered 49 and the sixth covered 58. The voting process will begin at 7 am and go on till 6 pm. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
