On the first morning following the consecration ceremony, devotees flocked in droves to have the darshan of the new Ram Lalla idol. They began to gather at 3 am.

Tuesday morning, one day after Ram Lalla’s “pran pratishtha” ceremony, a colossal crowd gathered at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as the magnificent temple opened its doors for devotees to worship.

On the first morning following the consecration ceremony, devotees flocked in large numbers to have darshan (viewing) of the new Ram Lalla idol, according to news agency ANI.

Unrestrained revelries surrounded the ‘pran pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the principal rites conducted by a small group of priests.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra website offers two distinct time slots for devotees who wish to receive darshan of Lord Ram Lalla: one morning slot from 7am to 11:30am and another afternoon slot from 2pm to 7pm. ‘Aarti’ times are as follows: sandhya aarti at 7:30 p.m. and jagran/shringar at 6:30 a.m. Passes for the ‘aarti’ are available online and offline. The offline passes are available at the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi camp office; a legitimate government identity document is required.

On Monday at 12:29 p.m., Lord Ram’s “pran pratishtha” ceremony took place. A seven-day ritual that started on January 16 was part of the ceremonial journey that led up to the world-wide event.

People from diverse backgrounds, including representatives of several tribal communities, attended the ceremony. Leading religious and spiritual figures were also invited to the consecration ceremony.
