A group of students on Thursday met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at his residence in Delhi to hold discussions on the NEET-UG row.

Earlier today, the Supreme Court deferred hearing on the case till July 18, a day after the National Testing Agency (NTA) submitted its affidavit to the apex court.

In its affidavit, the NTA said there is no evidence that question papers went missing. The Supreme Court is currently hearing the NEET controversy case.

In its affidavit to the apex court, NTA said, “No question paper was found missing in any Trunk. Each question paper has a unique serial number and was assigned to a particular candidate. No locks were found broken. The reports from NTA Observers did not report anything adverse. The CCTV coverage in the Command Centre was constantly monitored. No untoward incident or any pointer to paper leakage was observed.”

Last month too, Pradhan met a bunch of students who had appeared for the NEET-UG exam in May to address their concerns. “Students who wanted to meet us today, I called them, their parents also came, I met them. I heard their side, and I made them feel better. The government is committed, and all students should have this assurance that a transparent process will be followed,” the minister told ANI at the time.
