Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Friday arrived at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai to attend the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. He was accompanied by his wife and three children.
The Anant-Radhika wedding promises to be a grand celebration of Indian heritage encompassing culture, spirituality, folk art, craftsmanship, music, and cuisine.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s main wedding events kicked off on July 12 with the auspicious Shubh Vivah ceremony later in the evening. On July 13, the celebrations will continue with Shubh Aashirwad, featuring an Indian formal dress code. July 14 will culminate in Mangal Utsav, the wedding reception, where guests are invited to attire themselves in Indian chic fashion.
Named “An Ode to Varanasi,” the wedding decor theme honors the ancient city celebrated for its rich traditions, spirituality, arts, crafts, and delightful Banarasi cuisine. The venue at Jio World Centre will be artfully redesigned to resemble Varanasi’s bustling streets, providing guests with an immersive opportunity to explore the city’s cultural heritage, flavors, and spiritual ambiance.
