The Goa Police on Thursday stated they found a handwritten letter from the service apartment rented in Goa by Suchana Seth, the Bengaluru CEO who allegedly killed her four-year-old son. According to a report by India Today, in the letter, it was written, “I cannot tolerate the court’s order for my husband to meet my son.”

Police have sealed the letter and sent it to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for examination by an expert.

As per a report, Suchana Seth allegedly killed her son to prevent her estranged husband from meeting the child as part of visitation rights.

Suchana Seth and her husband got married in 2010 after they met in Bengaluru. They filed for divorce and the proceedings for the same are underway.

Reportedly, Seth was unhappy with a court order allowing her estranged husband to meet their son every Sunday. She had also filed a domestic violence in 2022 against her husband, Venkat Raman. The court papers in the case reflected that she demanded maintenance of Rs 2.5 lakh per month from Raman, citing his income of Rs 9 lakh per month.

On Thursday, it was also uncovered that Suchana Seth told her friends and family members that her son resembled her husband and the child always reminded her of their estranged relationship.

Venkat Raman had asked Suchana Seth to let him meet their son. However, Suchana turned down her estranged husband’s request and instead asked him to meet her at a public place in the city. Thereafter, Raman waited for Suchana for more than two hours, and called her up several times when she did not show up. She also allegedly did not respond to his messages and emails. Thereafter, Raman travelled to Indonesia for work.

Raman was also restrained from entering Seth’s house or contacting their son via phone or any other medium after the order was issued over the domestic violence case.
