Chinese president Xi Jinping’s ongoing five-day tour of Europe will primarily focus on two smaller countries in the eastern part of the continent. This region has become strategically significant for Beijing, serving as a gateway for its expanding economic interests in Europe.

After commencing his European tour with a visit to Paris on Monday, marking his first trip to the continent in five years, Xi will proceed to Hungary and Serbia. These two nations are known for their autocratic leadership and are perceived as being amicable towards China, while also maintaining close ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Modi in Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minster Modi is set to address rallies in Andhra Pradesh today, with engagements planned in Pileru, located in Annamayya district, and a rally scheduled in Vijayawada, situated in NTR district.

In accordance with a seat sharing agreement among NDA partners, the TDP has been allocated 144 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha constituencies, while the BJP is contesting from six Lok Sabha and 10 Assembly seats. Additionally, Janasena is competing for two Lok Sabha and 21 Assembly seats.
