The Himachal Pradesh government has raised the minimum age of marriage for girls from 18 to 21 years. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday. Earlier, a government committee was set up to explore the aspect.
