Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the inaugural session of ‘Journey Towards Viksit Bharat: A Post Union Budget 2024-25 Conference.’
During his address, PM Modi reiterated that India will become the third-largest economy in the world during his third term.
The conference was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and aimed at presenting the outline for the government’s larger vision for growth and the industry’s role in this endeavour.
More than 1,000 participants from the industry, government, diplomatic community and think tanks, among others, attended the conference in person while many others will connect virtually from various CII centres around the country and overseas.
During the event, the prime minister also listed how India’s economy has changed under the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in the past 10 years:
