India will enter its second phase of polling on April 26 (Friday). The first phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 recorded a 60 per cent voter turnout while the electoral process reportedly went on smoothly with some violence reported from West Bengal, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh.

The second phase of the elections will span 13 states and Union Territories (UTs) and will cover 88 constituencies. The first phase covered 102 constituencies. The voting process will begin at 7 am and go on till 5 pm. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
