The National Capital Region (NCR) is set to receive a significant transportation upgrade with the introduction of a new Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) connecting Gurugram to Greater Noida.

The train will run between Hero Honda Chowk in Old Gurugram and the planned metro in Cyber City. The projected metro will also link Rajiv Chowk and Bhondsi station. This village will be connected to Kherki Daula and Pachgaon via the metro route that runs from Sector 56 to Pachgaon. At Rajiv Chowk and the village of Kherki Daula, close to the projected ISBT, the Namo Bharat train gate would also be built.

Namo Bharat train will run in one phase. On October 22 last year, a meeting was held between Housing and Urban Minister Manohar Lal and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini regarding Namo Bharat train. It was decided that Namo Bharat train will be constructed in one phase from Sarai Kale Khan to Dharuhera.

There will be five interchange stations: Five interchange stations will be built on the Namo Bharat train route. Namo Bharat will connect to the proposed metro in Old Gurugram at Cyber ??City and Hero Honda Chowk. It will connect to the proposed metro from Bhondsi to Railway Station at Rajiv Chowk. This village will be connected to Kherki Daula and Pachgaon by the proposed metro from Sector-56 to Pachgaon.

The Haryana government has approved the DPR of Rs. 34 thousand crores for this project. The DPR has been sent to the Housing and Urban Ministry for approval.

Namo Bharat Trains Now In Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the Delhi section of the RRTS, which means that Namo Bharat trains have now arrived in the national capital. The New Ashok Nagar-Sahibabad Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) corridor, part of the ambitious Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat project, was inaugurated on Sunday. This 13-km stretch of the high-speed rail network, developed for Rs 4,600 crore, aims to transform regional travel. Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated the 2.8-km stretch of Delhi Metro Phase-IV between Janakpuri and Krishna Park.

This 13-km section of the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) from Sahibabad in Uttar Pradesh to New Ashok Nagar is now operational.
