Designated Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has issued fresh threats on Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha and has urged Muslims to oppose the grand temple opening ceremony on 22 January.

According to News 18, citing intel sources, the Sikh for Justice leader has called Ram Mandir unholy, ungodly and unrighteous in a new video that has just been released.

He also called for shutdown of airports from Amritsar to Ayodhya ahead of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony on 22 January, reported Republic.

“From Amritsar to Ayodhya, shutdown airports. Now is the time, Muslims, you carve out a country Urduistan from India,” Republic quoted Pannun as saying in the video.

He said that the ceremony is going to have a “global consequence” and called upon Muslims to protest.

Pannun also said that the temple is built on Babri Masjid and called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a “global enemy of Muslims”, according to Intel sources.

“January 22 is Modi’s Operation Bluestar against Muslims,” he added.

Pannun was declared a designated terrorist in 2020 by India under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

Pannun, an American citizen and a lawyer, had also threatened Indian consulates and missions in Canada, UK and US over Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s death. Last year, he had circulated photos of Indian High Commissioner to Ottawa Sanjay Kumar Verma and Consul General in Toront Apoorva Srivastava in a poster in which they were accused of playing a role in Nijjar’s killing.

In September, his properties in Amritsar and Chandigarh were seized by the NIA and also charged him and his organisation under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and the UAPA on 20 November.
