Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday released BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

The document details the party’s pledges and future strategies to enhance development, security, and economic growth in the region.

After releasing the BJP’s manifesto, known as ‘Sankalp Patra’, Shah highlighted the BJP’s dedication to fostering stability and progress in Jammu and Kashmir and asserted that Article 370 has become “history” and will never make a comeback in the Union territory.

Addressing a press conference in Jammu later, the senior BJP leader said the last 10-year period will be written in golden letters in the history of the country and J&K, and urged people to vote his party to power to continue good governance.

Jammu and Kashmir will go to polls in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, 2024. The results will be declared on October 8. Jammu and Kashmir has 90 assembly constituencies, with 7 seats reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and 9 for Scheduled Tribes (STs).
