Apple has officially unveiled its latest flagship tablet, the iPad Pro (2024), during its recent ‘Let Loose’ launch event. This cutting-edge device introduces several groundbreaking features, including a revolutionary ‘Tandem OLED’ screen—a significant departure from the Mini-LED technology used in the previous generation of iPad Pro models.

Available in 11-inch and 13-inch display options, the iPad Pro (2024) boasts slimmer bezels compared to its 2022 predecessor, resulting in a more immersive viewing experience. Powering this innovative tablet is Apple’s formidable M4 chip, which promises exceptional performance and efficiency. Additionally, users can enjoy ample storage space, with the option to expand storage capacity up to 2TB.

Running on the latest iPadOS 17 operating system straight out of the box, the iPad Pro (2024) offers a seamless and intuitive user experience. To complement the new tablet, Apple has also introduced the Apple Pencil Pro and a new Magic Keyboard, both designed to enhance productivity and creativity for users.

Apple M4 iPad Pro 2024: SpecificationsThis year, Apple has raised the bar in tablet performance with the introduction of the iPad Pro (2024), powered by its latest 10-core M4 chip. This chip marks a significant advancement in tablet technology, surpassing even the M3 chips found in Apple’s MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models. The M4 chip not only matches the performance of the M2 chip used in the previous iPad Pro (2022) model but also achieves this level of performance while consuming only half the power. Additionally, Apple has enhanced the Neural Engine for on-device AI tasks, further improving the capabilities of the latest iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro (2024) is available in 11-inch and 13-inch display variants, both featuring Apple’s new Tandem OLED screens. These stunning displays offer a 120Hz (ProMotion) refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, True Tone support, and P3 wide colour gamut coverage. With adaptive refresh rates ranging between 30Hz and 120Hz, users can enjoy smooth and responsive visuals. Customers also have the option to choose a Nano-texture display glass option on the 1TB and 2TB iPad Pro (2024) models, enhancing the viewing experience further.

Equipped with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle TrueDepth camera on the front, similar to the iPad Air (2024), the iPad Pro supports Center Stage for seamless video calls. On the back, the device features a 12-megapixel primary camera and a LiDAR scanner, with the rear camera supporting ProRes video recording up to 4K at 30fps and slow-motion video recording at 1080p at up to 240fps.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 support for charging at 20W. In the US, the iPad Pro (2024) supports both Sub-6 and mmWave 5G connectivity, while offering Sub-6 5G support in other regions. Face ID provides secure biometric authentication for users.

The iPad Pro (2024) comes in at 249.7×177.5×5.3mm (11-inch) and 281.6×215.5×5.1mm (13-inch) dimensions, weighing up to 466g (11-inch) and up to 582g (13-inch).

Alongside the iPad Pro (2024), Apple introduced the new Apple Pencil Pro, featuring a new sensor in the stylus’ barrel that adds support for ‘squeeze’ gestures to bring up a tool palette.
