Speaking in one voice, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Polish PM Donald Tusk called for the end of the ongoing wars and conflicts.
Modi held talks with Tusk at the Chancellery in Warsaw on Thursday during his two-day visit to Poland. At the joint press briefing after the talks, the two leaders announced the upgradation of the India-Poland relationship to Strategic Partnership.

On his part, Tusk said that Modi was committed to the immediate resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
“PM Modi confirmed that he is committed to the peaceful, just, and immediate stoppage of war in Ukraine. We believe India can play an important and positive role and this declaration is very important,” said Tusk, according to a Hindi translation of his remarks.
